What do I offer?

Counselling

As a counsellor I work with individuals and couples. I have a particular interest in working with young people.

Some of the issues that might bring people to counselling are:

  • Relationship difficulties
  • Bereavement and other losses
  • Self esteem
  • Stress, anxiety and depression
  • Sexuality
  • Sexual abuse
  • Trauma and PTSD
  • Work related issues e.g. redundancy, bullying
  • Life transitions e.g. new baby, child leaving home, retirement

This is by no means an exhaustive list. Sometimes clients come who wish to learn more about themselves. I welcome clients who come for any reason and look forward to working with you to find your own solutions.

Supervision

In supervision counsellors and other professionals who work with people have the opportunity to explore their work and its impact on them.

I work with trainees and experienced counsellors. I offer a free introductory session where you can ask any questions and explore the possibilities of a working relationship with me. I also enjoy working with those from other theoretical orientations who wish to experience person centred supervision.

Training and Groups

I offer training and group facilitation to businesses, voluntary organisations and others who require training on a particular topic. Team development days can be designed to meet your needs. Please contact me for more information.
